SECURITY SYSTEMS: GSM/Cellular/Internet Backup

With an alarm system cellular backup, you will never have to worry about phone service interruption. This can prevent communication between your control panel and central station.

The vast majority of security and fire systems installed to date rely on vulnerable above-ground telephone lines. These lines communicate alarm events to the central monitoring station. Therefore, In the event of an alarm, your alarm system sends a signal through your phone line. If your phone line is not operating, it can’t contact the central monitoring station, there is a break in your link to safety.

It is better to use GSM Cellular and Internet Backup. If the alarm panel does not detect a dial tone, it will automatically switch to the cellular back-up unit. This cell back-up unit will make a “cell phone call” to the cellular network, which then forwards the signal directly to our central monitoring facility. Even if Internet service AND phone service is down, the GSM cellular backup will still be capable of communicating.

Call (201) 529-0100 for a free site evaluation and find out if an alarm system cellular backup communicator is right for you. Please note that there can be a system disruption when using a VOIP phone system. These phone systems allow you to access incoming and outgoing calls over the internet.
